PMC – SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE (EAF) STEELMAKING TECHNOLOGY

This procedure constitutes a preliminary market consultation ("PMC") pursuant to Section 33 of Act No. 134/2016 Coll., on Public Procurement, as amended, in connection with the contemplated public contract for the supply of electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking technology. The subject matter of the PMC is to discuss the proposed tender conditions and contractual terms of the contemplated public contract and to obtain expert feedback from relevant suppliers. Its purpose is, in particular, to verify whether the proposed conditions are consistent with standard market practice, proportionate, and technically and commercially feasible. The PMC does not constitute the commencement of a procurement procedure, an invitation to submit tenders or any other procedure for the selection of a supplier. The Contracting Authority is not obliged to commence a procurement procedure or take any other subsequent action following the PMC.
